Energy Consumption
We have been working closely with the Carbon Trust who has helped us identify where we can save energy.
By putting timers on lights, using photo sensitive switches, which turn off the lights when the sun shines and swapping to green energy electrical suppliers we have saved 622 tonnes of carbon dioxide being released in to the atmosphere each year.
By making our boilers more efficient and by reducing the temperature in the centre by one degree we have saved 200 tonnes of carbon dioxide being released in to the atmosphere each year.
At Festival Place we continually monitor our energy consumption and aim, where ever possible, to reduce use, saving energy and money.
