Pizza Express
Pizza Express was the choice of restaurant for our latest meal out.
We haven’t been in one for a while so wondered if it had changed in style and atmosphere. It’s a very open restaurant and welcomes children enthusiastically and has a great menu for them.
We had a Mozzarella & Tomato salad and a Bruschetta Originale as starters followed by a Padana and Fiorentina pizzas. Thoroughly enjoyable.
You don’t have to worry if you’re watching your weight, Pizza Express have the terrific Leggera range of pizza which are around 500 calories per pizza.
To help wash it down we had a lovely bottle of Pino Grigio Blush.
The meal was so good that we ‘forced’ ourselves to have dessert and coffee. We decided on the tiramisu and cheesecake and a latte. For the size of the cup the latte might be a bit strong for some people as it’s a double shot of espresso, so remember to ask if you only want one shot.
We’re happy to recommend them for both good food and attentive, efficient staff.

Just been for a Leggera pizza with wonderfully yummy warm dough balls to start. Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Worth looking for vouchers.

Food fabulous, great service, menu well thought out, early evening a bit noisy as there were a lot of kids, but otherwise great.
