As we look forward to Spring fashion it seems like designers have taken a step back in time. This season, its 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's nostalgia that will endeavour to inspire you, which means retro revival is back!

If you feel like you need a structured and more classic wardrobe to see you through Spring then it's also a time for refinement with smart looks and cleaner lines following closely on the horizon.

Relive The Revival

Retro revival shapes, fabrics and show stopping colours lift our spirits to new heights this season and with the popularity of embellishments on every cuff, waist and neckline which appeared last season, it's with gratitude that this detail is here to stay.

Desirable Denim

We could never live without denim but this season there are edgy pieces to add to your wardrobe to refresh your look incorporating frill front shirts, flirty dresses, sun bleached jackets and dungarees also make a come back, a definite 80's flash back.

Super skinny jeans are here for the long term whilst wide leg and high waisted styles are another chic alternative. Don't just stick to the usual denim washes, as coloured denim is here to stay, why not make a statement in red, green or blue.

Act Upon Accessories

Accessories will update and complement any outfit, giving it a unique twist and making it your own. Look out for bags that are oversized and make a statement in metallic bronze and silver, very versatile and easy to wear. For the more daring high shine PVC shoppers might be more your bag, they'll be appearing in colourful sheer plastic and if you like this look then hunt down a belt to match.

Jewellery adds the finishing touches with long beaded necklaces that will elongate the figure. You'll also find assorted Perspex pendants amongst the treasure troves, which can be mixed and matched with chunky bangles. Couture scarves and fine knit scarves can also be seen hanging around necklines to go with the more feminine look.
