February 2017: Car Park Refurb at Festival Place

Here at Festival Place, we’re making big changes to create a fresh and inviting shopping experience for all our visitors.

We’re improving the shopping and dining choices, and public spaces throughout the centre, to enhance the shopping environment. Some of these changes can already be seen. Work is almost finished on modernising St John’s Square and on the installation of new entrances. We’ll also be renovating the car parks and introducing new signage and a brand new, eye-catching logo.

As well as the improvements to public spaces, we’re making exciting changes to the shopping and dining offer. We’re bringing in new brands to complement the existing shops, as well as introducing more restaurants throughout – giving you even more choice of where to have lunch at Festival Place, or enjoy an evening out with your friends or family.

We’re in talks with several top fashion brands and restaurant names about taking space in Festival Place. We’ll tell you more soon – so watch this space.

As part of Festival Place’s wider refurbishment programme, renovation works to the centre’s car parks are due to start in March 2017.

The old, under-used car park structure, next to the Alencon Link, will be demolished and rebuilt. Car parks A, B and C will be upgraded, internally and externally, improving their appearance.

The car parks will remain open throughout the refurbishment and we aim to minimise disruption for everyone during this time. We’ll post regular updates here throughout the construction works, so come back regularly to find out more.

Once complete, the upgraded car parks will provide a much improved experience for our visitors, and are an important part of our wider refurbishment work at Festival Place.
