We're committed to making Festival Place a welcoming, inclusive and comfortable space for everyone, and we've recently taken another important step towards achieving this.

We've increased the number of male incontinence and dignity bins across the centre, ensuring that every male cubicle in both our public and staff toilets now has dedicated disposal facilities.

This improvement supports the BOG STANDARD campaign, developed by phs Group in partnership with Prostate Cancer UK, which aims to improve washroom facilities for men living with incontinence, helping them dispose of hygiene products safely, discreetly and with dignity.

Male incontinence is an often-overlooked issue that can have a significant impact on confidence and everyday life. For some men, it can be a side effect of prostate cancer treatment, while others may experience it for a variety of health-related reasons.

With one in eight men diagnosed with prostate cancer during their lifetime, we recognise the importance of providing facilities that help everyone feel comfortable and supported when visiting us.

By introducing dedicated bins in every male toilet cubicle, we're helping to remove some of the barriers faced by men living with incontinence, giving them greater privacy, dignity and peace of mind.

We believe everyone should feel confident and comfortable when visiting Festival Place. This latest improvement is another step in our ongoing commitment to making our centre as accessible, inclusive and welcoming as possible.
