Job Description – Kitchen Assistant
We are passionate about providing high standards of service, and you will play a key role in ensuring our guests receive great food and a great experience.
As a member of the Kitchen Team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving food to a high standard, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen, following food safety procedures and supporting the wider team during busy periods.
Key Responsibilities -
To run a kitchen independently
To prepare and cook food to the required standards.
To ensure food is presented and served consistently.
To follow all food hygiene, health and safety and allergen procedures.
To maintain a clean, tidy and organised kitchen and food preparation areas.
To ensure equipment and workstations are kept clean and used safely.
To check, rotate and restock food supplies as required.
To follow recipes, portion controls and kitchen procedures.
To work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining high standards.
To minimise food waste and use stock responsibly.
To work closely with the wider team to ensure the smooth running of the centre.
To assist in other departments when required.

Ability to work confidently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
Understanding of food hygiene and safe food handling.
Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
Ability to remain calm and organised during busy periods.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Kitchen or hospitality experience is desirable, but not essential.
Flexibility around working hours and shift patterns (availability agreed at interview).
Evening and weekend availability.
Ability to build good working relationships with team members.
Our centres are always busy, and the role is varied. You will work with our team to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly, food is prepared to a high standard and our guests have a great experience from start to finish.
