Our Car Park is open 24 hours a day.

Drive in and out with no tickets, apps or queues. Register Once, Pay Automatically

  2. Enter your vehicle registration and payment details
  3. That's it – you're set up for every future visit. Each time your vehicle enters the car park, Hozah will automatically take payment according to the applicable tariff – with no need to pay manually or use your phone.

Important: You only need to register once. After that, parking payments are fully automatic.

If you prefer not to pre-register, you can pay for a single visit on your phone after parking.

ticketless kiosks (cash or card)

For visitors who prefer to pay on site, kiosks are being retained—just enter your registration number.

Parking at the Festival Place Basingstoke is now simpler, faster and greener, powered by Hozah, a ticketless parking payment system designed to remove stress and queues for drivers. Using automated number plate recognition technology (ANPR) and an app-free permit system – Autopay – registered visitors will be able to drive in and out of the car park without the need for a ticket.

Parking for Festival Place Basingstoke, includes easy access to Basingstoke Town Centre and Train Station.

Our car park has been accredited with the Park Mark award, which recognises Festival Place's commitment to providing an environment where customers can park safely and with confidence.

We also have a disability parking accreditation which can be found here.

Facilities include spaces for Blue Badge holders, parents, and children, which are clearly marked and located adjacent to the lifts.

Motorcycles are welcome to park on any level.

Features also include: bay monitoring lights across spaces on Levels 1 - 4, four find-my-car systems, coloured zones (Purple, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange).

Find-my-car systems can be found by Cote, on the lower level by Next, by the Blue zone car park payment machines by Lloyds Bank and inside the Purple zone car park payment machines by Flip Out.

The car park is open 24 hours a day.

Our Car Park Terms and Conditions of Use relate to your use of the car park at Festival Place. Hard copies are also available on request at the Festival Place Management Suite which is located on the first floor of the shopping centre.

Car Park FAQs

Hozah is the UK's leading provider of automated parking and has provided similar systems for other shopping centres, football clubs and universities.

Festival Place operates a barrierless, ticketless parking system using Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR). Customers can either:

  • Register with Hozah for automatic payment when leaving the car park
  • Pay manually at a payment kiosk by entering their vehicle registration number when leaving the car park.

Yes. Hozah charges a small convenience fee for using Autopay. At FP, it’s 10p each time you use the car park.

Yes. Customers can pay at the payment kiosks by entering their vehicle registration number and paying by card.

Yes. Cash payments are still accepted at the payment kiosks.

  • If you decide to pay by cash or card, then payments will be taken when you pay at the kiosk when leaving the car park.
  • If you are registered with Hozah, payment is only taken after you have visited Festival Place and your vehicle has exited the car park.

No. Registration is optional. If you are not registered with Hozah, you can simply pay for your parking at a payment kiosk before leaving. Just enter your car number plate and then pay by card, cash, or phone.

  • If you are registered with Hozah, payments will be processed automatically.
  • If you are not registered with Hozah and leave without paying, then as with any other car park, you will get a penalty notice through the post.

The capacity of the car park is closely monitored and when its full, the entry will be closed by members of the team to allow the appropriate number of cars to exit before it’s reopened.

Yes. Standard parking charges apply when using the EV chargers.

Payments can be made either by contactless at the charger or through the Roam app.
