Festival Place welcomes all visitors, with easy access around the centre and clear marked parking bays.
Disabled toilets
Our disabled toilets are fully compliant with the latest health and safety standards. There are toilets in three locations; next to Lloyds Bank, Wimpy and Array Jewellery. Access to these toilets require the use of a radar key, please call 01256 360101 or visit the customer lounge for more information.
Changing Places Toilet
Changing Places toilet can be found at the Discovery Centre, during the hours of
Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5pm
Saturday 8:30am-4:30pm
These facilities are open during the opening times of the Discovery Centre and include:
- An adult-sized and height-adjustable changing bench
- A ceiling track hoist designed to be used with loop attachment slings
- A centrally placed toilet with room either side for carers
- Shower facilities
- Emergency Alarm
- Peninsular Toilet

Parking
Disabled Parking is available throughout levels 1-4 of the Festival Place car park. Spaces are highlighted in blue, and have blue bay monitoring lights above to highlight availability.
All spaces are located by entrance lobbies.
If your multi-passenger vehicle is too tall for our car park, please call our Control Room on 01256 360 191 and a member of the Festival Place team will assist you.
Accessible lifts and walkways
All of our car parks have lifts that provide access into the main retail areas of Festival Place. Larger stores including Marks & Spencer, Waterstones, Next also have lifts.
Shopmobility
Wheelchairs and Scooters can be hired from Shopmobility Basingstoke.
Shopmobility offer a range of wheelchairs and electric scooters for hire on a daily or part daily basis. Full training is offered. Located adjacent to Festival Place, off Church Street, Shopmobility have their own car parking places. Please call 01256 476066 or log on to www.shopmobilitybasingstoke.org.
Service Dogs
Assistance dogs including guide dogs, hearing dogs for deaf people and support dogs are all welcome at Festival Place.
Induction Loop System
This can be found at our Customer Lounge (link), please switch your hearing aid to T.
Quiet Time
From 4pm - 7pm each Wednesday, and 9:30am-10:30am each Saturday, you'll find Quiet Hours. to make your experience at Festival Place as relaxed as possible.

Braille
Braille can be found in our lifts, by each floor number and by the Church Street entrance to Festival Place.
Ear Defenders
A selection of children's ear defenders can be found at our Customer Lounge. Ear Defenders are available to use around the centre and conform to EN352-1 and CE marked.

Festival Place are proud to support the Sunflower Lanyards scheme. Sunflower Lanyards and ID cards are recognised in the Centre. You can find out more about the scheme here.
