Job Overview: Festival Street Kitchen is seeking a passionate and experienced Front-of-House Manager to lead our vibrant team. This role will be at the heart of our customer experience, ensuring that every guest enjoys exceptional service and the high-quality food we are known for. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, bar management and event planning, with a knack for leading a team in a fast-paced environment. As a Front of House Manager, you will play a key role in organising and running events, managing staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our front-of-house services. You’ll need to be an excellent communicator, thrive in a busy environment, and have a passion for creating unforgettable customer experiences. A valid UK driving license is also needed, as some event coordination may require travel. We’re an independent company that values creativity, fun and community. Key Responsibilities: - Culinary background: Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. - Oversee all front-of-house operations, ensuring high standards of customer services and smooth service flow. - Supervise, train and motivate front-of-house staff, fostering a positive and productive team culture. - Plan and coordinate events, from start to finish, ensuring every detail is handled with precision. - Manager bar operations, including stock levels, staff training and customer service. - Maintain a strong focus on health and safety, ensuring compliance with food safety and alcohol service regulations. - Handle customer feedback and resolve issues promptly to maintain a positive dining experience. - Collaborate with the kitchen and management team to ensure a seamless guest experience. - Maintain cleanliness and organisation of front-of-house areas, including dining spaces, bar and event areas. - Assist with marketing and promotion events, working closely with the team to attract and engage customers. Qualifications: - Culinary background: Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. - Previous experience in a front-of-house management or supervisory role, with a strong understanding of food service and bar operations. - Experience in event planning and execution, ideally within a hospitality or food service setting. - Ability to manage and lead a team in a high-pressure environment, providing clear direction and support. - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. - In-depth knowledge of food safety, health and safety and alcohol service regulations. - Ability to multitask, solve problems and adapt quickly to changing situations. - A valid UK drivers license is needed. - Flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
