Water consumption has reduced by 58% since 2012 . This has been achieved by a number of initiatives that have included the introduction of water less urinals since 2011 and Propelair Water saving toilets since 2021

Our commitment to reducing energy consumption

By putting timers on lights, using photo sensitive switches, swapping to green energy electrical suppliers, making our boilers more efficient and reducing the temperature by 1 degree, we have saved over 800 tonnes of carbon dioxide being released into the atmosphere each year. And over 95% of our suppliers are those who have shown their commitment to ethical procurement and business practices.

Our commitment to looking after our world

We aim to annually increase the amount of rubbish we recycle on-site by continuing to educate our retailers and restaurants via visits, education packs and our site induction. Each year we save water by placing Hippo bags filled with water in the toilet cisterns that work in the same way as the commercially available Hypo system. We also use waterless urinals and since 2011 have been using collected rainwater within our cleaning regime.
