Let’s do the twist to celebrate as pretzel perfection has arrived at Festival Place!

Auntie Anne’s opened a new kiosk in the centre on Saturday, November 9, with lots of freebies to celebrate its launch.

The grand opening included a giant pretzel pulling ceremony, free pretzel giveaway, an appearance by the brand’s mascot Mr Twisty and a visit from the Mayor of Basingstoke, Cllr Dan Putty.

This is Auntie Anne’s 39th shop to open in the UK. It’s famed for its iconic hand-rolled pretzels – both savoury and sweet – which are all hand rolled and freshly baked.

Centre Director Vicky Hickson said: “This is another exciting addition to our FP food and drink offering.

“We now have so much variety for our customers looking for that quick, yet delicious, snack. I’m sure it will be hugely popular.”

Director of Operations for Auntie Anne’s, Antony Baker says; "We're thrilled to bring Auntie Anne's to Festival Place, marking our 39th UK and Ireland location. This store embodies our commitment to fresh, handcrafted pretzels, and we can’t wait for Basingstoke to enjoy the full Auntie Anne's experience!"
