Basingstoke will burst into a rainbow of colour again this weekend as the flamboyant Pride parade returns to Festival Place for a second year.
Drag king Richard Energy, known for their high-octane performances and razor-sharp wit, will join headliner Victoria Stone from RuPaul’s Drag Race UK at the Amphitheatre on August 16.
The parade will follow the same route as last year, starting at Willow's Coffee House on the corner of Church Street and parading through the town centre. The parade will finish at the Amphitheatre where there will be lots of entertainment, free family-friendly activities, stalls and music.
The event will take place on August 16 between 11am and 4pm.
