We know it can be difficult to buy for the important men in our lives, but that shouldn’t mean dad misses out. Here at FP we have the perfect prezzies no matter what your dad, stepdad or father figure is in to.

From smellies and comics to puzzles and chocolate we can help make this Father’s Day (June 15) one to remember.

Sweet yumminess

OK, so let’s start with an easy one…chocolate! And there is literally nowhere better than Hotel Chocolat. The chocolatier has a fantastic range of gifts designed just for dad. From the Everything Sleekster Father’s Day Luxe, £44.95, to the Happy Father’s Day Pocket Collection, £10.95, you can find everything he loves – they even have the Large Chocolate Dipping Adventure, also £44.95, for those who want something just a bit different!

Escape the reality

If your dad loves a challenge, then look no further than the Escape Rooms in an Envelope range at Fig & Fox. There are a few to choose from including The Scandal and The Blunder and at £17 is an affordable way to spend Father’s Day afternoon without the fear of getting locked in!

Everything’s Kushti!

Anything retro is bound to be a winner. Something that makes dad feel young again will go down a treat. So head to Kushti Comics – an absolute gem of a shop – where there’s a huge range of vintage comics, video games and action figures. It may not stock Peter Pan, but it will certainly make dad feel young at heart!

Heaven Scent

Men will often buy things when they need them, but there’s one thing they never buy for themselves and that smellies. So why not give him a real treat and head to Rituals where they have the perfect gifts for a good old pamper. They have a whole range of goodies for men, from shampoo and moisturiser to shower gel and massage oil. But they also have eau de parfums starting at £14 for a travel size, which means dad can try out his favourite before really splashing out.

Rituals

If designer fragrances are more his thing then head to the Perfume Shop and choose bestsellers like Cerruti Vivo from £64 or Hugo Boss Bottled Bold Citrus from £54.40. For that extra special touch, have your present gift wrapped with a personalised ribbon. You know it makes scents!

Dressing for the Sunshiiine

Is your dad one of the lucky ones heading to see Oasis later this year? Then why not treat him to an Oasis T-shirt (£40) from Next. They come in different colours but we can’t promise you’ll stand out in the crowd.

For those dads who see the first signs of summer and ditch the trousers in favour of shorts, look no further than River Island for some Navy Slim Fit Tipped Texture shorts at £32 – very sartorially elegant!

Tasty treat

If your dad loves nothing better than going out for something tasty to eat, then we have a whole host of delicious restaurants to choose from, with just about every cuisine imaginable. From pizzas and pad Thai to burgers and boeuf bourguignon, there’s something for every dad’s taste.

If your dad is keen on French cuisine then Cote is offering dad their first drink on the house this Father’s Day!

Don’t forget the card

Now you’ve bought the prezzie, don’t forget the card. At Festival Place there are card shops to suit whatever your dad is into. Clintons has a huge range of cards for all the father figures in your life, but if you’re looking for a more unusual and dare we say it – sarcastic – card, the head to Typo, you won’t be disappointed!
