We can’t wait for the long weekend of Jubilee celebrations from June 2-5.

We’ve got big plans here at Festival Place, with our special Jubilee Feast running as part of our annual Eat Street Festival.

Meanwhile, we know plenty of you will be looking to put out your own bunting to celebrate the Queen’s historic milestone – so here’s our guide to achieving Platinum style (on more of a silver budget!) with a little help from our retailers.

Ryman have a whole host of supplies, from party supplies to arts and crafts and games. Find their stock here: https://www.ryman.co.uk/jubile...

Next has a colourful range of special Jubilee decorations, from red, white and blue bunting and balloon arches to Jubilee paper cups and plates, straws and napkins. Jubilee Decoration Kits start at £12. You can also find Jubilee dresses, t-shirts, bucket hats and socks – perfect for a right royal knees-up. If you like to get crafty, brighten up garden chairs with colourful ribbons or use red, white and blue fabric or crepe paper to make bunting and paperchains.

After a glass of two to toast Her Majesty, your guests will think the celebrations have gone to your head with a quirky Union Flag String of Bunting Red Ribbon Headband, £4, from Paperchase.

Let them eat cake with a fun Jubilee Street Party Cake Stand, £4.99, from TK Maxx, and save on the washing up with paper cups, plates and wipe clean tablecloths, all £1 at Poundland.

When the lights go down at the end of the day, light a lovely Jubilee Light-Up Scented Candle, £9.50, from M&S. It’s fragranced with neroli, lime and bergamot, and embedded with silver glitter for extra sparkle. Lighting the wick triggers the integral LED lights, which make the Royal themed illustrations glow.

The perfect end to the perfect day. Happy celebrating!
